Wednesday Night Hop

Wednesday Evenings - 7:00 to 9:00

Join us on Wednesday nights from 7:00 to 9:o0 PM for fun night of Lindy Hop! Featuring a one-hour lesson in either six- or eight-count Lindy Hop and an hour-long social dance following, this is a fun way to get your feet moving and your heart pumping.

Join Megan Lange, Nick D’Amico, and Matt Kennedy as they share their love of Lindy Hop. This dance, which originated in Harlem in the late 1930s and early 1940s, will keep your feet moving all night long. 

No partner required - just bring your smooth-soled shoes! Admission is FREE, but donations are accepted.

Lindy Hop for Kids! - with CenterStage Performing Arts

Tuesday, April 2nd through Tuesday, May 28th - 7:15 to 8:10

Join us on Tuesday nights for Lindy Hop for Kids! Mr. Matt and Ms. Megan will be teaching the fundamentals of both six- and eight-count Lindy Hop in addition to exploring Lindy Hop line dances such as the Shim Sham and the Tranky Doo. Series begins Tuesday, April 2nd and take place each week through Tuesday, May 28th.

CenterStage Performing Arts Academy is offering this Lindy Hop Class for students 10 through 18. Students must have a background in dance (or) have taken at least three weeks of the Wednesday Night Hop classes to join this class, as it is fast-paced and includes both partnered and line dancing. Joining the class mid-semester is not guaranteed and is up to the discretion of CSPAA.

May Intermediate Series - Sweet Swingouts

Wednesday Evenings, May 1st, May 15th through 29th - 7:00 to 8:00

Join us for our May intermediate series! Taught by Megan Lange, Nick D’Amico, and other surprise guests, this series is for dancers who have taken at least four weeks of the Wednesday Night Hop beginner lessons or have previous Lindy Hop experience and have mastered both basic six- and eight-count patterns.

Learn to swingout! This move, one of the integral moves of Lindy Hop, can be seen in routines and on social dance floors all over the world. For examples, skip to 7:15 in this video!

Cost: $20 general / $15 for students - includes admission to social dance (cash, check, or card accepted)
